Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bingeboxd ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Bingeboxd is a TV show and movie tracking and social platform that allows users to discover, track, rate, and review television shows and movies. Features include:

  • TV show and movie discovery and information
  • Episode tracking and watch progress
  • Ratings and reviews
  • Watchlists and custom lists
  • Social features including following other users
  • Personalized recommendations
  • Notifications for new episodes

Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining account security.

User Content

You retain ownership of your content (reviews, ratings, lists, comments). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with the Service.

Your content must not violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, contain hate speech, spam, or harmful material.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use automated systems to access the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse engineer or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Manipulate ratings through fake accounts
  • Collect personal information of other users

Intellectual Property

The Bingeboxd app is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. TV show and movie information is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB).

Premium Subscriptions

Bingeboxd may offer premium features requiring payment. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled per Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

Disclaimers

Bingeboxd is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bingeboxd operates. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted.
